Goo & Grit

$475.00

Slime, Science & the Power of Not Getting It Right the First Time

What Is Goo & Grit?

Goo & Grit is a hands-on science camp where kids don’t just do experiments. They think like scientists.

We use slime, oobleck, kinetic sand, bouncy balls, and delightfully chaotic materials to teach the scientific method in a way that feels more like play and less like school.

No right answers. And absolutely no pressure to “get it right the first time.” Because real science doesn’t work that way.

Best for kids who:

  • love slime, goo, and sensory play

  • ask a lot of questions

  • get frustrated when things don’t work (and need practice pushing through)

  • think science sounds intimidating… but secretly love figuring things out

Especially great for girls who don’t yet see themselves as “science kids.”

Ages: 5+

Time: 9 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (Before and after camp care available)

Dates: July 13 - July 17, 2026; Aug 3 - Aug 7, 2026

Location: Miss Maker Ranch, 1491 Sunshine Valley Road, Montara, CA 94038

Cost: $475.00

All materials provided | Bring lunch, snacks, and water
